About the workshop
The Art of Feeling: Sadness
Join Alice Rainbow Yoga and Sandra of Nut Blossom Apothecary for a gentle and nourishing day of yoga, plants, rest and embodied exploration at The Yoga Social.
Sadness is part of being human, yet it is rarely given the space it deserves. This workshop offers a compassionate container to meet sadness with softness and care.
Using slow movement, breath, rest, ritual and nourishing herbal allies, we will allow sadness to be felt and honoured — without needing to explain or fix it. This is a day to slow down, soften and be with what is present, in a way that feels supportive and respectful.
Throughout the day, Alice will guide soothing yoga and somatic practices to invite gentleness, presence and rest. Sandra will share comforting herbal preparations and plant wisdom to support warmth, grounding and emotional tenderness.
This workshop is an invitation to come as you are. A tender day of presence, quiet connection and deep care, with room for whatever you may be carrying.
What to expect:
Slow, soothing movement
Breath and deep rest
Gentle ritual and reflection
Comforting herbal preparations
Optional sharing
No previous experience is needed.
All are welcome.
